Environment Canada says some areas could see up to 70 millimeters of rain

Rainfall warnings issued by Environment Canada said amounts could range from 50 to 70 millimetres. The warning states that heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads, and localized flooding is possible in low-lying areas.
Environment Canada said winter conditions could be expected in higher elevations in the foothills, and parts of the region could receive 10 centimetres of wet snow accumulation…
